Quality Standard 4: Teachers demonstrate professionalism through ethical conduct, reflection, and leadership
Standard Reflection:
During my degree, especially in the past year I have shown that I have a want to further my leadership and professional skills. One thing that highlights this is attending 2 different conferences as a pre-service teacher. I also have been able to join the community of schools I have been in, starting from my first few practicums till now. Helping plan events and through displaying art at my student teaching placements I was able to show my leadership in schools. I hope to continue to grow these skills in the future as I learn more in a teaching position.
Element a: Teachers demonstrate high standards for professional conduct.
Reasoning Statement:
Included is my professional dispositions sheet. This touches on all the different areas of professionalism and if I think I achieved it. This shows the high standards that i achieved during my time student teaching.
Element b: Teachers link professional growth to their professional goals.
Reasoning Statement:
During my student teaching experience I was able to travel to the National Art Education Association Conference in San Antonio, Texas. At this conference I was able to present with my peers and professor on our experience as pre-service teachers. I have enjoyed attending multiple conferences and it is something I hope to continue to practice as a move forward.

Element c: Teachers respond to a complex, dynamic environment.
Reasoning Statement:
This is a How To work sheet I created for 5th graders to make clay masks. We used the Kimmy Cantrell as an artist example. The 5ht graders were finishing their previous clay project at different times, so through creating a worksheet they can follow along at their pace. This helped support the whole class environment and allowed students to work more independently.
Element d: Teachers demonstrate leadership in the school, the community, and the teaching professional conduct.
Reasoning Statement:
Below are multiple images of art work that was displayed throughout the school and some at the district office. Some of this art work was created for original works, which allows folks at home to buy different things with their child's art work. Some of this art will also be displayed at family fun night which the community is invited. I also aided in some planning of family fun night
